Cael's Room: Almost complete

So, with just a few DIY projects and finishes left to complete, the nursery pictures are ready to go "public" :)  I'm a perfectionist at heart, so of course, I couldn't post pictures until at least 90% of the projects were done and hung.  We still have to get some of the list checked-off, but technically baby boy could move in just fine in his new space.  We are so happy with how it has turned out so far, and can't wait to call it completely complete.  Check it out!

And of course, in our usual OCD fashion...the clothes have all been washed, and the drawers have been organized.  We don't have a closet to work with, so there was no way we weren't going to make up a "system" for the drawers to work as our only storage.

So, remember this list from the nursery progress post?  I'd say, we're on our way!!  The items remaining either require help, or are just if I have time before he gets here, or to-do on maternity leave to make the room more "beachy"

Install new light fixture (possibly waiting on Papa D to help with this one, because he is the pro, and let's face it...I don't need to be up on a ladder these days!)
Hang metal wall sea animals
Hang bookshelves/create his reading nook
Construct wall art
DIY mirror (still need to put fisherman's rope around the frame, then it's complete!)
DIY mobile (got the mobile from momma...not necessary anymore!)
Door anchor from Cindy
DIY toy bins
Arrange changing area on dresser
Wash clothes, organize drawers better
Stool for glider
Repot palm tree
