37w4d: Winter Melon

How far along?: 37 weeks, 4 days
Maternity clothes: Whatever is comfortable.  At this point, style really hasn't been my thing this week.
"Tiger Stripes":  Same.
Sleep: Not good.  Contractions wake me up, baby wakes me up, uncomfortableness wakes me up...basically, I'm ready to be up all night with a baby.
Best moment this week: Watching Daniel in action for our "false alarm"...he will be amazing when the time actually comes.
Miss Anything: My appetite. I get hungry, but cannot crave anything, so then the hunger just passes until literally NOTHING sounds good anymore.
Movement: Slowing down a little bit, but still crazy at night.  He gave us quite a scare this week though, after not moving at all for about four hours.
Symptoms: Every sign of labor imaginable, without the baby actually coming. I won't go into all of the gross details, but basically, he should be here by now with everything going on with my body!!  And, on top of everything, this inner-ear infection is killing me, making things even MORE uncomfortable!
Food cravings: So sad to say...nothing.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The usual.
Labor Signs: Everything is there! Contractions throughout the night, some even strong; no appetite, weight loss, bloody show (Wednesday), nausea (Thursday), upset tummy, lessened movement of baby boy, menstrual-like cramping, fatigue, swelling...you name it!
Belly Button in or out?: Out, or flat, depending on what time of day.
Wedding rings on or off: Off
General Mood: Happy; Anxious for his arrival; On-alert (if that is even a mood), trying everything to listen to my body; Tired
Best advice this week: My mom is a nut sometimes!  Since our false alarm, we've all been a little bit "on the edge of our seat" ready for the real thing. She called me to tell me the weather forecast...that we were predicted to get some pretty nasty storms.  As if I knew what in the world she was talking about?!  She said "google it".  Apparently, it is an old wives tale that the change in barometric pressure in the air from a thunder-storm can put women that are close to their due date into labor. haha :)  It did storm, I did have stronger contractions that normal...but baby still hasn't decided he's ready to join the outside world.  Too funny!
Worst advice this week: None.
Exercise: What is this "exercise" you speak of?  Maybe someday soon I'll be able to try it!
Looking forward to: Meeting our son....soon, hopefully!
